my recompense ..

one day
when all the weights are shifted and the scales of Justice balanced
it may well be ' Judgment ' in a way we didn't expect
   or hear from a pulpit

it's quite possible that ' recompense ' will take-on the appearance of each person we have abused ..
those very people that suffered somehow at my hand
   will look me in the eye and remind me of
   who i was and what i did

and the effects that deed or word fomented in the life of that person
   and in the lives of the people connected to them
      seen in the events that flowed out of that one evil
will become very clear to me

i will suffer my own recompense for having ascended to the place of Authority over that person ..
