'tis a good day ..

today is a good day in history
a mighty blow was struck this day for good over evil, for righteousness over wickedness in high places
.. for humanity

a man stood up out of death and Hell
and walked free

that blow resounded across the ages for all humans over all time as the Messiah of God broke the chains that kept humanity captive to the fear of death
the light of hope radiating throughout the universe
freeing hope
hope that brings life through him who is the Life, the Way, the Truth

i follow that man
he is my king, my master, my lord, my saviour, my redeemer, my rabbi, my friend
for him, and in his name, i forsake all (however late in the game it is)
i count everything to be refuse in the pursuit of his kingdom
everything ..

my aim is to deny me
pick up my cross daily ( whatever that may entail )
and follow his lead

my intention is to be swallowed-up in the hope of that Light
resurrection life my energy
Jesus my vision

i am nowhere near to being who i am
but i'm in process, that man my life

i die daily
that the death of Messiah Jesus may be lived out in  me
that the life of Messiah Jesus may be free in and through me

for the glory of God
for the growth of the kingdom
for Jesus' sake


today is a good day
rejoice
be glad
celebrate the resurrected Man

then go
live in him

praise the Lamb of God
the risen Christ

reconciliation is enjoined
God will soon enough be all in all
